Why YOUMI
Not an “Asian shop”, but the market around the corner
In 2019 a few students in Berlin realised that tasting home meant either a two-hour drive or a month at sea. So we built a warehouse in Berlin — and let people who actually cook choose what goes on the shelves.
- Range curated with 12 cooks living across Europe
- Unbroken cold chain — frozen goods never above -18 °C
- Bilingual ingredient lists (Chinese/German) with allergens marked
- 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive
